How To Get Started

It is very easy to get started on your Bible Education. We have listed in order the documents you should read and in some cases sign and send back to the Seminary.

1. Statement of Faith

The Statement of Faith contains “What We Believe” as a Baptist Seminary. These are the major doctrines of the Bible that we hold dear and are evident in everything that we teach. It is important that you understand these beliefs to avoid being confused as you go through and study the courses. The complete list of these doctrines can be found in the Top Menu of our website under the “Beliefs” tab.

2. Student Application

Once you have read and understood the “Statement of Faith” you may then move to the admission’s phase. Just below this paragraph you will find a link named “Student Application.” Click on the link, print the application, fill it out completely and sign it. Once completed, it should be mailed to the address given at the top of the application. The “Statement of Faith” that prints with the application can be kept by the student and should not be mailed with the packet to the Seminary. Along with the application, the “Cost Form” mentioned below, copies of the student’s high school diploma or G.E.D. and any college transcripts should be submitted. There is a one time $15.00 filing fee made out to Titus Baptist Seminary that should be sent in with the packet as well.

3. Cost Form

The cost to receive this Bible education is a monthly love offering to the Seminary by the student. The amount of that offering is to be determined by the student. The “Cost Form” which is printed with the “Student Application” has a blank line where this amount should be added. The student is responsible for the cost of textbooks. You will also notice on this form that you are asked whether you will use the internet for your course study or need course DVD’s shipped to you. There is another blank line to be checked with this information. Please note if you request DVD’s, there will be a mailing charge. The amount is specified on the form. The “Cost Form” should be sent in with the application packet.

4. Welcome Letter

Once T.B.S. receives your application packet, it will be processed and a “Welcome Letter” will be sent to you by email, regular mail, or both. This letter will come with instructions of what courses should be taken and all that will be needed to complete them. You are now on your way to a great Bible education.
